Banking Code Compliance Monitoring Committee (CCMC)

The CCMC is an independent compliance monitoring body established under clause 36 of the 2013 Code of Banking Practice.

Its purpose is to assure the community that subscribing banks honour their Code obligations to their customers.

To do this the CCMC will:

  • Monitor banks’ practices
  • Identify and report on industry wide problems, and
  • Encourage continuous improvement.
